I used to be in this school, I left in 2004 and now I'm leaving comp, it's gone so fast! Doing my G.C.S.E's now .. only 3 more to go! Glyncollen seems to have changed alot, it's looking good. I've still got my totem pole I made in year six in my living room. I found my stackpole diary the other day as well! I had some good times in Glyncollen. I'm still friends with most of the girls! I'm going to Gorseinon college in September to do Production Arts. It will be a big change, but I'm looking forward to it!

Hi it is just me Georgia and I just want to say I will miss Glyncollen next year because it feels that I have only started at Glyncollen I wish that my class yr.6 could be in Reception again. Because it was fun in Reception - it is funny that the time has gone so fast and I didn't see it coming. Why does the time go fast? Is what I want to know and why does it have to go fast, because it is fun when you start school because you don't have to do any work but as soon as you get to year 1, you start work and then it gets hard and hard and then when you get to year 6 you still have hard work but you also have fun and get to go on lots of trips. bye!:]

Hi me again, again. In M.C.S we have an Eisteddfod every year. Every form class in years 7,8 and 9 get split into houses, which have their own colours: Dewi -Red, Hywel-Green, Glyndwr-Blue and Llewelyn-Yellow. The houses are all named after saints of Wales. Every school subject has a competition (even PE!!) and this year, (well take Technology for example) we had to make a Welsh Dresser and in History we had to make a castle but it may change next year!! On the day you get to dress up in your house colours and you get a day of no work!! You get points for good nehaviour on the day, your entries in different subjects and for the choir competition, the Eisteddfod song this year is 'Mi Wlas I Mi' (Mrs Richards have you heard of it?!!) We also have to sing songs like: Sosban Fach, Oes Gafa Eto ( sorry, think I spelled that wrong!!) and of course the Welsh National Anthem!!
Hope the Yr6s that are coming up to enjoy the Eisteddfod too!!

I loved Glyncollen! I started in Year3 (1999) and went through to year 6. Mr.Davies was always my favourite teacher! (please pass on my reguards!) I see him sometimes up the comp, taking the kids swimming. He's the one who got me started in sport and thanks to him I am now coaching both football and hockey even though I am only in year 12. So I suppose ... THANK YOU MR.D!!!

Finally got my baby sis on the 25th of August. It is so cool to be a big sis!!! Missing everyone in my class. I am so excited to go back. Hi this is Jade and Sean Sharp's mam, just to let you know I think this site is really good. Sean is on his way up to comp in September and is really looking forward to being with his big sis(don't think Jade is too happy though). Any way great school, will be missed but not for long cos another one of the gang will start in January little Connor who will be 3 in January. All I can say is watch out Glyncollen here we go again!!!!

Hello all, i finished glyncollen two years ago after six years of primary, and what a good six years that was! i miss being in primary, comps boring :( i used to be captin of the girls football team, i hope that teams going well!! Glyncollen was an excellent school, i miss all the memories :( well thats all .. abi x x

I left this school 20 years ago and still remember it as being such a wonderful place. I am really happy to see that Mrs Brice, Mrs Richards(nee Miss Evans) and Mrs Ellis are still there helping successive generations on the start to school life. Thank you for the 8 years of support I received and keep up the good work.

2 but on the way home it was SNOWING but sadly we had to go home that was a

I was a pupil many, many years ago...I am now 31. I can see that some of my old teachers are still at Glyncollen - hello there Mrs Thomas! I live in Warwick and am starting to think about schools for my son - I hope I can find one as great as Glyncollen.
