Cross Country

Cross Country training took place during the Winter term.  Despite the awful weather, the rain and mud, the teams battled on in training and got extremely muddy on their practice runs.

The school's cross country teams were made up of 6 girls and 6 boys who raced against 8 other local schools. The winner of our local heat goes to the regional final in Swansea to try and get to the County finals.
In January our teams competed in the local heats and whilst we didn't get through to the regional finals, all runners worked very hard and tried their very best.  All of the runners managed to improve on their initial finishing position in the trials.

Well done teams.  We are very proud of you all.
