Our theme last term was Knowing me, Knowing You.

We have been learning all about each other, and some animals too.
We went to see the animals in Plantasia, we saw turtles, snakes, a chameleon,
monkeys, parakeets and a fish that looked like Nemo.

We looked carefully at ourselves in the mirror to see what colours our eyes and hair are.
We then painted our self portrait.

Don't they look great!
We worked really
hard on them...

We drew around each other and used collage materials and paint to make our body posters.
We learnt the Welsh names for some of the parts too.

As part of the Butterfly Tea Party we made symmetry pictures of butterflies
and decorated our Creative area with them.
We raised lots of money for the Ty Hafen charity.

Plan - Do - Review : everyday we can choose the area of learning we want to play in.
We use our planning boards to remind us what we are doing next.
Then we tell the other children what we have been doing.
We love planning.

In Nursery we all have the right to be happy.
In circle time we talked about what we can all do to make
Nursery a happy place.
We then decided on these rules for our class.
We are all happy in Nursery.

We have been having a very noisy turn playing lots of different drums
and we are now designing and making our own.

The theme for this term is Wash and Dress.

We have started the toothbrush programme which we do everyday.

We are also working hard to learn songs for our Xmas concert " Toby's Drum "
We are looking forward to singing for our families in the hall.
