We went on two trips, last term...
Plantasia and Swansea Museum & Waterfront Museum.
The Plantasia trip was very interesting, we saw lots of different plants and creatures.
At the Museum we learnt about the Victorians as part of our History project.
We found out about Alice Francis and her husband George Francis.
It was great fun at the Waterfront Museum as we were Super Sleuths.
Each week we go to our forest and take part in amazing games.
We wear our wellies and waterproofs so we can explore the trees, pick up logs and walk through sticky mud.
As for our Maths lesson it is awesome, we have so much fun.
We go on the interactive whiteboard on Super Maths World.
We learn about fractions, timestables, area, money and loads more.
During our English lesson we have been writing letters to children in a Swedish School.
They reply to our letters asking us lots of different questions,
e.g. What is your school like? Do you have brothers or sisters?
It is really nice to read about other childrens lives.
In Welsh we have been watching a programme called Bobol Bach - It is funny.
We are learning about welsh clothes and body parts - It is great fun.
We have a Welsh Weather Chart and we change it everyday.
Madam Martin teaches us French, she is so much fun because she has so much enthusiasm.
We are learning about Christmas and Papa Nowel.
Mrs Holland teaches us Music, she knows alot about music.
Lee teaches us ball skills and keeps us fit, he is from Reccos Soccer School.
We've also been learning about " Building Bridges " its all about been calm and relaxed.
We have posters on our class wall about " ways to calm down " and we listen to relaxing music.
We also have group discussions on postive self-talk and listen to positive stories.
It is very calming.
We have been working with partners & in groups to write our own Class Rules.
Then we made colourful posters and put them on display.
We have a Golden Goblet in our classroom, each time the whole class does something well,
we receive a marble in the goblet when we have 20 marbles the whole class gets a reward.
